I've had the latte here several times .. it's consistently nice. The Feta & Dill Escargot is also good ... downside is that some of the staff is neither warm nor welcoming, a turn off for me.

Very lovely place with a great selection of pastries, sandwiches and drinks. Tea for 4 took a bit as it's prepared properly so go with that in mind. A washroom would have been great to have to wash hands before eating but all in all a great place.

Great little chain which you can always rely on if you are looking for a quick bite to eat. Pastries are lovely, staff welcoming and the smell of freshly baked goods is always a positive. Please give GAIL’s a taste and don’t be intimidated by the line up…it moves super fast! 👍

Bought a cinnamon roll for take-away from this branch of Gail’s today. While it was nice and tasty after I’ve heated it up at home, it wouldn’t have been half as nice cold. Any cinnamon roll is delicious, in my opinion, but this one definitely loses to the other ones I’ve tried so far. The price is not cheap either and the granulated sugar coating is superfluous, I think

Americano was meh.
Mocha was bleh.
Food was acceptable. Like any other decent cafe can offer.
Cafe scene in the area is strong so this is not the only one to spend your time and money.
The Saturday staff on Oct 29 was grumpy, Not what paying customers want to see.
Everyone had a frown of some sorts and did not respond to any requests with a nod or any acknowledgement. It seemed like they could smell something under their noses.
For our next time I'd rather go to the good ol'Starbucks next door.
At least I'm guaranteed a commercial yet decent experience.

Note: we spent 35 GBP between 2 adults on a takeaway, and had to remind them twice to give us a bag. They begrudgingly seemed to give us one in the end.
And of course- forgot cutlery, napkins etc.

Do yourselves a favor and give this place a miss if you can. Plenty of other cafes in Hampstead, with better service from people who actually seem to enjoy their job.

Great trio to Gail's in the sun today and had an ice Americano. Was super yum and great seating outdoors. The baked goods smelt amazing and I saw alot of people enjoying them.

I will say they only offer oat or soya milk :( no almond even, would like to see this change in the future.

Good location on the high Street and very relaxed atmosphere in the sun.

If you liked my review please give it a 👍 and feel free to follow me on Google maps for more reviews!

Unlike other branches and chains this Gail’s bakery never bothers to update its online deliveroo menu when it runs out of items (other places update and grey out unavailable menu items).

So orders here constantly go wrong with substitutions and consequently endless aggro trying to get refunds. Lots of time wasting.

Shame as the food was good, but the management is incompetent, lazy, excuse-making (“we’re busy”) and unwilling to improve.

Went from being a daily customer to no longer ordering with them. There are competitors who provide a competent service.
