Clare made a wonderful wedding cake for us - thank you so much! We had a three-tier cake with two different flavours (cherry bakewell and carrot cake), and Clare beautifully arranged flowers from our florist on the side too.
The cake tasted incredible - our guests loved it! We had some left over so we froze it in slices, and can confirm that it still tastes amazing defrosted too.
Clare was incredibly helpful throughout the process - from chatting to us about what we wanted, to tasting different flavours and communicating up until the day as needed.
We'd definitely recommend using Little Bear Cakery for a wedding cake.

Myself and my husband were fortunate enough to have Clare bake two wedding cakes for us. We had to reschedule and then downsize our wedding due to the lockdown restrictions so Clare made us a gorgeous two-tier cake with the polka dot design we requested. It looked really stylish and chic. Most importantly, it tasted incredible! We had one layer as a chocolate salted caramel and the other as lemon sponge (which was our favourite!).
The second time around, Clare baked us a three-tier cake with the same design and flavours for our 1st wedding anniversary. We are so pleased we used Clare for our wedding and anniversary party as she is incredibly talented and creative. Plus she has been so accommodating despite all of the circumstances that occurred over the last couple of years!
Would whole-heartedly recommend Clare to bake your wedding cake as you will not be disappointed!

Clare made our dream wedding cake come to life!
She totally understood our vision and created the most gorgeous, - and more importantly - DELICIOUS vegan wedding cake. It was quite hard to find someone who could make a tasty vegan wedding cake, but we were spoilt for choice with Little Bear Cakery. The tasting was amazing - not only was it lovely to try each option and work out which tier would have which flavour, but Clare took the time to understand our wedding vision and how our cake would compliment the entire day. We went through topper and stand options etc - really helpful detail. We ended up investing in a marble cake stand to keep, rather than hiring and Clare was really helpful in giving the approval on sizing/quality for the cake size/weight.
I'd like to add that Clare was amazing throughout the pandemic, dealing with all of our postponements so supportively and sensitively - she was so patient with our dates moving and order changing etc. She was easy to contact and always professional - even when going on maternity leave she gave us plenty of notice and put in the care to let us know all was planned to go ahead (gold dust when you're busy planning 100 things for the wedding). It was a relief to know the cake arrangements were in safe hands, and on the day Clare dressed our the cake with our wedding flowers and we were over the moon with it! Our guests were so impressed with the cake and couldn't believe it was vegan. I have to say that the luscious lemon was my favourite! Thanks so much Clare! :)

We can’t thank Clare enough for our beautiful wedding cake. It was everything we had hoped for. Can highly recommend the Salted Caramel which was a huge hit with our guests. We loved it!

After three unsuccessful cake tastings elsewhere, we were beyond delighted to find Little Bear Cakery... from the tasting right up until our wedding, we loved working with Clare, who was so accommodating and kind to us. The cake not only looked amazing but tasted DELICIOUS on the day, and the only problem we have is deciding which flavour was the yummiest. Don't even think twice about having Clare make a cake for your special occasion - you will not be disappointed! We are trying to think of another event we can have so that we can taste it again!

It didn't take long for us to find a wedding cake maker. The moment we found Clare's work we knew she was the one! Her business name was also a sign since my partner and I affectionately call each other "bear". It was meant to be. There is so much to say about Clare, her absolute professionalism, timeliness, attention to detail and passion for her craft. Her sugar flower creations are pure beauty. They take your breath away.
Our wedding cake was three (huge!) tiers of her Luscious Lemon cake, "zesty lemon sponge soaked with limoncello (one tier alcohol free), lemon curd and light vanilla buttercream". Topped with the most beautiful handcrafted sugar peonies, blackberries, Italian ruscus foliage and hydrangea flowers. Our guests were even betting on whether the flowers were real or not. The cake was an absolute delight, with the tastiest, softest, delicately flavoured sponge ever, a masterpiece.
Having had to postpone our wedding a year and half, Clare was incredibly understanding and made the process a lot easier and stress-free. Thank you Clare for being such an important part of our wedding day!

Claire and Little Bear Cakery are amazing!! They recently designed and made our wedding cake, and it looked beautiful and tasted amazing!
We gave Claire the brief of a elegant cake, where the cake detail matched the wedding dress detail, and without doubt Claire smashed it!

We loved having our wedding cakes made by Clare! She did two cakes for our wedding and both of them were perfect! We had a lavender & wild blueberry cake for our main wedding cake and a red velvet for our grooms cake (and American tradition that I wanted to bring to our wedding). Both cakes were absolutely beautiful and unbelievably delicious! We had the wedding cakes as our main desserts and all the guests were so complimentary and said they were so delicious! Cannot recommend Little Bear Cakery enough! Thank you for helping to make our wedding day so special!!!
