Karaway Bakery

I visited the bakery at Seven Dials Market. All their bread on display looks very photogenic. Almost too perfect. I love love love brioche bread so naturally I wanted to buy something brioche to try. Decided to go for the chocolate & hazelnut brioche.

I’m sad to say it looks better than it tasted. It was good but maybe it was left out in the cold open air for too long so it was going stale......would love to find out how it tastes fresh out of the oven 🤔

I am a chef my self and I’ve been in many different event in the past 10 year , had many suppliers and also had so many bakery and pastry chef and do u know what?
I had never tasted the same flavour and amazing texture like the bread that come from this amazing bakery, also very nice and polite stuff super friendly and amazing looking!
Well done to Karaway bakery!!!
Go and try the brioche buns too!!! Amazing!!!

Got an incredible peach cheese cake from here - unique, very well made and great tasting - it wasn’t that sweet! On top of that, got a lovely loaf of seeded sunflower bread which we used with our ingredients elsewhere from borough market mortadella with truffles and burrata!

Bought a dark chocolate cheesecake from Borough Market. Worst cheesecake ive ever tasted. Completely bland and tasteless. Very disappointing considering it cost £10! The only positive is its visually appealing, but that just makes the taste all the more disappointing.

I got a slice of the infamous Russian honey cake which I always wanted to try and glad to find it here in Borough Market. The price was £3.50 and they accept both cash and card which is nice of the lady to ask before making my payment. The cake was a delight, soft and light and definity I can also taste honey! Their whole cake is £11 and honestly I might just get that when I visit Borough Market again.

Best bread I have tried. Even better than in my home country where these breads originated. I could eat whole loaf. Most amazing bread.

The honey cakes (all of them) and roses are amazing. And if you are fussy about bread, you will find one that is perfect for you.
