When I first started working in Welwyn Garden City I asked what people did for lunch and they said Tesco, I was shocked to find out they weren't joking. I was very happy to discover some real food at Simmons - fresh bread, sandwiches, breakfasts, gourmet focaccias and good cakes.

As nice as the food and drink is at Simmons, at this branch the levels of customer service shown by some members of staff is disappointing to say the least.

Stopped during a cold ride, for a coffee and cake. Great selection to choose from, good service and good coffee. Plenty of seating indoors too.

It's my favourite local cafe, for lunch (loads of choice; excellent value), or just a coffee and a cheese twist. A great place to watch the world go by. The staff are lovely and friendly. They support the Willow foundation giving special days to young people with life limiting illnesses. Their mince pies are delicious.

Most Simmons are excellent but sadly this one is very average (eat-in restaurant). Service was very slow and the food was mediocre - cold beans and hard, rubbery eggs. Maybe they were short staffed or having a bad day when we visited.

Visited this branch after a while & was surprised on how much its been improved. Theres a great seating area & a wide range of selection here. I was served by Laura and she provided amazing customer service! She was extremely friendly, catering and made my experience much better here today. Special thanks to you!
