One of the best places to buy bread and pastries in Bury St Edmonds. Their pastries are up there in quality with the very best in France. Some people discover this gem through word of mouth, me i discovered it by noticing the appreciative queues outside!

Absolutely outstanding bread.

The baguettes are one of my favourites. They’re available to preorder online for collection at various locations. I suggest prebooking for collection to avoid disappointment.

Their mornings buns are delicious. Perfect with a tea or coffee.

I got to their Bury St Edmunds Bakery around 09:30 Saturday morning and they had already run out of rhubarb pastries! It’s a shame we can’t preorder these online!

Staff are absolutely lovely.

Contactless payment, only two customers at a time in the store.

Bought the toasted seed sourdough from Bury market and it was one of the best breads I've ever eaten! Crisp gorgeous crust, an open crumb that is soft and chewy without being gummy, amazing flavour, and the seeds added lovely texture. I couldn't stop eating it - it's delicious toasted with butter, and even just plain on its own. Would go back to Bury just for this bread.

Wonderful baked goods. So fresh and crispy. Not cheap, but worth every penny if you love breads.

Always visit the market stall in Bury St Edmunds on Saturdays.
Tend to go for the focaccias which are delicious and the malt loaf is amazing. I also enjoy the sourdough breads on offer and am always made to feel welcome at the stall- the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Amazing baked goods. Worth the early morning drive all the way from London!

The morning buns are a true delight of custard cinnamon and sugar, and everything else is a wonderment of the use of butter in baking.

Loved what we bought and will certainly be back for more.
