Birds Bakery

Lovely local bakery for cakes, fresh bread and cold meats.

Classic Birds but no card machine! Had to wait to be served and then go back out the shop and queue to get cash. A well established shop such as Birds should have a card machine.

As much as I love the fresh breads, I find this place very expensive for what it has to offer...

Went in the other week and the sausages looked like they had seen better days, but the best was seeing the over cooked cheese and onion rolls still for sale....

Unlike other birds I visit. This one seems to never have what I want. Unsure if its a stock problem but others birds in other locations are better stocked

Love birds, you cant bet it for fresh bread and cobs. To me they have the best beef spread around.

Forget going in here after about 12 o' clock no stock, bought 4 x sausage rolls they where clearly yesterdays.
Pastry was stale and just not nice, got a cheek selling at full price £3.25 wont be visiting again.
This is your time to shine and stamp out your competitors GREGGS !

They refused my payment of cash for reasons I can't comprehend. They also sacked a member of staff for accepting cash from pensioners who didn't have a card and needed bread. Please avoid this company, they clearly don't want your money as they won't accept it? Oh well, greggs it is then.
