Locally owned, family business in a lovely village in the beautiful Lake District of England. All produce freshly baked on the premises. Visitor from Cardiff, South Wales here looking for local fare. Found it here in this delightful, must visit village!

Superb!!! Best pies we've ever tasted.
Carrot cake and almond slices magnificent.
Can't visit Wasdale without a visit to the bakery.

Our stay at Gosforth and the stay was lovely and despite the local shop being expensive my Partner went to the bakery purchase 6 rolls 2 steak pies and 2 Sausage rolls for around Ten pounds. The sausage roll for the price was small at least the pies were over cook and poor in presentation. The only good points they were reasonably tasty. My uncles being bakers I wonder what they would think of this bakery??

Visited for the first time after a recommendation. Purchased some really tasty Pies, a proper Scoth Egg and lovely homemade cakes. Highly recommended.

Fabulous little bakery, beautiful pies,sandwiches and cakes. Opens and closes early..

I found the bakery to be tasty and reasonable compared to others I have visited and the treacle loaf long with the 3 seeded loaf 👌if you want your pie's to look like Mr Kipling's pie's don't go to a rustic bakery

Best bakery around. Food is first class and cost less than the rubbish other places are selling.
Staff are really nice and so efficient.
I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Nice but expensive 🫰 lots of choice but at £1.50 for a slice of quiche and £2.50 for a steak pie it's not somewhere you could regularly visit..
