The Crusty Cob

Bit of a mixed opinion of this bakery. On one occasion the pasty ordered tasted rather bland and on another occasion was very nice. Little bit on the pricey side for stand alone drinks

Informed of a 20min wait for food which was totally fine but asked for the food to be brought out together as one of us was just having a pasty but all arrived randomly 10mins apart, half of which was wrong and one order didn't arrive at all. Food was mediocre quality. Shame really as the place looks very nice. Just a side note it was way to hot inside to sit and eat comfortably.

No wonder people go to Greggs these days. I love a local bakers and I love to support them rather than another high street brand but they just do not put enough effort in. Staff miserable, product has several different heating temperatures over the item from cool to scorching, and it is not cheap either for an item which doesn't even look baked as it is hardly brown. Shape up or you are going out of business, you local shop!

The best vegetarian (vegan) sausage roll! We go in weekly to get one for my son as a treat on his day off from preschool. The customer service is always so friendly and they have seating outside too :)

Baked items are average/good, sandwiches are nicely filled and they normally make a good cup of tea. Better then the big chains in my opinion.

Lovely and friendly staff. I ask for a baguette that is plain and 9/10 times they will make it for me without complaint.
