Very nice cakes. Prices reasonable but don't go in at lunchtime for a roll or a cornish pastie because they'll be long sold out by then. However they have managed to survive this long against competition like Greggs is beyond me.

Cakes treats and breads that you can't find anywhere else. You can buy a slice a fruit cake from here which is like a wedding cake or Christmas cake, but you can have it whenever you like! The caramel doughnuts are the absolute best.

Birds is a bit of an institution around these parts, and for good reason. Great cakes and treats. Just make sure you get there before 1!

Great pastries and cakes but shame they always run out by lunch time and the older woman behind the counter can be unwelcoming/patronising which puts me off coming unfortunately.

They need to make/stock more. Everything is sold by mid morning whenever I go in there. You'd have thought if they made more they could sell more! Hopeless.

The cakes and savoury food items are amazing. Good prices as well.

Small and really dry sausage rolls cakes are ok to say

Arrived at the shop 8.20am not open as per the advertised time of 8am.

A shop assistant was in side shrugged her shoulders when I asked what time they were opening!!!
