A hidden gem! Lovely little traditional bakers with some modern twists. The fresh loaf's and home made pies are delicious. Well worth a trip!

I've been heading down to Douglas for around 6 months for business. The place that makes the drive from Glasgow worth it? Douglas Bakery. Jamie is a friendly happy chappy that makes you feel welcome and is always creating new tasty treats. Highly recommend the cinnamon swirl. See you next week Jamie 👍

I regularly travel from the midlands to Scotland and divert from the A74 just to stop here! Have done for years. The pastries and bread are amazing.

I think I've had a different one of their sausage rolls every time I've been, each one (I say one, I always buy four) a perfect combination of ingredients, pastry and care.

Will be back again soon.

Welcomed by the staff in an open styled kitchen.
No menu however this is not a fault as you can see it getting freshly made.
I purchased soup with buttered fresh bread with coffee and triple chocolate brownie. Great taste, great value for money.

They have fresh pies, sausage rolls, range of baked bread. Range of hot and cold drinks. They accept card.

This place came highly recommended by a locally based friend… and he wasn’t wrong!! Friendly, welcoming, and in my opinion a must try if you’re in the area! The scone I just had smelled and tasted fantastic!
I’ve also some steak pies and sausage rolls for dinner, couldn’t resist!!👍😁5 stars

First time in Douglas watching my daughter playing football. This was without doubt the best steak pie I have ever tasted. It was 10/10. Couldn’t taste nicer. Rammed full of quality beef with a peppery sauce and a flakey pastry. It was incredible - well done👍. My children loved the sausage rolls. I will definitely be back.

Stopped by on the way back to Edinburgh from Ayrshire - a spectacular find! Obvious passion for the baked goods and friendly chat too 👌The Lorne sausage "breakfast slipper", Chinese chicken pie, and salted caramel brownie each exceeded all expectations. Jah bless
