Happiness is indeed a warm welsh cake, as proclaimed in the bakery window - especially on a cold drizzly day. Baked fresh with a smile, delightful to watch the process. Several flavors, my fave is the traditional with a hint of mace / nutmeg. Visited both locations - Castle and Bay. Only problem - a

We love Fabulous Welshcakes and can never resist stopping by when we’re in Cardiff to try out a new flavour or two, so it was a no-brainier to order a load for our wedding. We ordered heart shapes in a few flavours and they went down really well with all our guests! The gluten free/vegan individual packs were great for our guests with dietary requirements. Thank you very much!

Delicious Welshcakes, and they have 3 different vegan options packaged (but not fresh, reason being for cross-contamination).

Yummy straight out the packet or warmed up! Wish they had the fresh option though as had to wait to go home (London) to try it properly!

We have been coming here over the years and I do think these are one of the best Welsh cakes in Cardiff. They taste amazing and melt in your mouth and really delicious flavours normally. We live in London and when we visit Wales we always buy a load to bring back. My issue is that they have a loyalty card and it mentions buy ten and you get a stamp. I asked the lady as we spent nearly 40 pounds worth and she tells me it's only the individual Welsh cakes. We bought the bags as they make better gifts and the plastic bags survive the journey better. After being told this it has put me off buying from them. To me this is very bad customer service. You don't treat loyal customers this way. What's the difference between a bag pre packed and Individual Welsh cakes. The staff member didn't even mention the loyalty card. It's bad customer service.

Freshly made Welsh cake - very buttery and not too sweet. There are multiple flavors although I went for the traditional and whitechoco/vanilla ones.

I think the price is very reasonable. The staff were friendly. Overall, a lot better than I expected (expectation was based on the photos - don't be deceived by its look).

Fabulous Welshcakes offer freshly made cakes and served warm. There a three different flavours. They were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be buying cakes again!

Freshly made and a decent price. Paid just short of £7 quid for 12 Welsh cakes. Bought the traditional ones but they do different flavours such as lemon, chocolate chip and cherry and almond.
