Jolly Baker

Popped in because happened to be in the area and needed a snack. What a pleasant family bakery, traditional, with really nice staff. More importantly, the pasties and filled rolls were lovely, generous in the fillings too, and the price was half what you would pay anywhere else.

The best slice of corned beef hash pie for value for money. Local business, often better value than some other popular bakeries, and its keeping local businesses alive. This is now a favourite of mine, and it's all home made!

Five stars just for the peppered pasties. Jolly Baker is iconic in Barry like johns hot bread shop used to be. The staff are held in high regard. They are partly responsible for maintaining the construction industry in south Glamorgan as Their products sustain half the tradesmen in barry. A++

Every cake, pastry and sandwhiches are made fresh, the best cream cakes in Barry. Very affordable and quick service

Please come here instead of greggs. Keep the local bakeries going. The sausage rolls here are so under rated, they knock greggs out the park! All pies pastries and cakes all fresh and tasty. Same goes for sandwiches and rolls.
They also have a unique selling point their own pepper pasties that you will not find anywhere else!

Have been using the Jolly Baker for 20 years! Always fresh baked food, delicious ham salad rolls and the pepper pasties are legendary 😜 Staff are great, beats other bakeries hands down!
Get there early though as they sell out pretty fast!
