Greggs 'The Halt' - Named after the old railway station. We often call in to this place for a bite to eat. Always clean and tidy, lovely tea, or cappuccino if you fancy a good coffee. Wonderful pizza slices, pepperoni or just a plain cheese & tomato - you wont be disappointed. Disgustingly gorgeous pastries; I love the Belgian buns with a big fat cherry sitting in the icing, but there are lots of other sorts of cakes too. Savoury, and meat slices packed scrummily full. There's nice hot soups, sandwiches and a great variety refrigerated drinks as well. There's a Cash machine outside as well as the petrol station.

Pleasant surprise to find this out in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lost a star as they were very low on food stock and selection. Recommended though. 👍☺️

For nice staff. The pasties we had were cheese and onion paste and chicken paste. Not a lot of difference. White coffee was warm. Won't be stopping again

Costas (the guy working the till) always has had a fantastic attitude. He's extremely efficient. He'll turn a 10 person deep cue into zero in 2 mins. Gregg should be proud to employ Costas.

How can this be the slowest service ever, waited for well over 10 minutes in line with four people in front of me. ended up walking out as the service was so slow. Would recommend passing this Greggs and going to your next one. they need to shape up as it’s on a busy road with lots of customers, gone downhill recently. Shape up Greggs

Stopped here yesterday mid morning. Teenage boy who served me was rude surly and abrupt, why the hell let him be customer facing with his attitude. Tables were dirty and sticky, gents toilet flush didn't work, no soap in the dispenser and the hand dryer was broken. What a shambles, definitely won't be stopping there again. Gregg's sort it out !!!!

Just left here,, ordered a bacon roll with tomato sauce and get sausage and brown sauce! Can’t turn around as I’m in a lorry but how hard is it to listen to simple instructions! What a waist of my money!!

Typical Greggs, food hot and prompt, fast service. Excellent place for a pit stop when travelling north to south in Wales.
