I don't usually write reviews but I love this place so much I feel I have to. It's not just the place, nestled in the back streets of an old Roman fort which lies at the centre of Caerleon, its not just an amazing bunch of people who work there, who look after you and are always looking to help you and it's not just the first class produce, from tasty coffee that kicks to cakes presented so well they'd belong in an art gallery if they weren't so lush, it's everything. Absolutely everything. Pop along, go for the bread, stay for the best iced slice in Wales and then take home a steak slice. Thanks for being there guys

Just exactly what was needed after a day exploring Roman Caerleon - to come across these super tea rooms and bakery. The tea and cakes were delicious and we were able to buy bread for our picnic tomorrow. Comfortable outdoor seating and excellent service. Thank you! A surprisingly wonderful bakery and café, with the most incredible range of bake-off worthy cakes and desserts to choose from, and wonderful service, too! Perfect way to round off a visit to the local historical attractions and I may well visit again from Bristol just for the cake.

Happened by on a chilly October afternoon while strolling around Caerleon. The staff were welcoming and warm. The coffee was very good, the shortbread was amazing, and I’ve never had a better ice-cold glass of milk (from a local farm, I was told). We were also treated to our first ever Welsh Cake. Simply lovely. Please, patronize this business!

Lovely little cafe and bakery with nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. Recommended by a number of locals which is always a good sign. Fab selection of cakes, pastries, artisan breads and a big range of pasties - meat , veggie and vegan. Great coffee and welcoming staff. We had a nice lunch then came back for coffee and cake later on! Situated on a quiet side road between the Roman museum and church. It was nice to get away from the busy main street. Will definitely return. Couldn’t fault it. Would be a good place to stop for walkers or cyclists and is only a 15 minute detour from the M4 if you need a rest stop.

We were recommended this bakery by our waitress at a local pub down the road. A short walk later and we were there. And it was AMAZING!!!!!!!! There were 6 of us and we each got at least 3 items. Every single thing we got was superb. We even ordered more to take home with us. One of my favorite items was their custard tart (i don’t know the fancy name for it). It was absolutely scrumptious. I could’ve eaten 100 of them in one sitting. They also had wonderful cookies, cakes, pastries, and bread. In addition they also had savory pies, pasties, etc. My fiancé las lived half his life in England and travels throughout the UK frequently. His favorite steak pie WAS in Southampton. BUT his new favorite steak pie is at the Village Bakery now. He was drooling with every bite. Visiting this bakery is an ABSOLUTE MUST!!!! The owner is extremely friendly and the aesthetic is beautiful.

Lovely little gem of a bakery/cafe in Caerleon. The people working here are friendly and welcoming. The coffee is really great and the baked goods they make are gorgeous. I had the vegan Cornish pasty which was delicious, the pastry and filling was fab. We also bought a loaf of their brilliant sourdough and the cakes we've had there before are fab. Some seating inside and lots of seating outside. All food can be eaten in or takeaway.

Lovely bakery! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, especially the gentleman who served us on the till. The coffee was good and Christmas cake was perfect. Will visit again!
