Local pastie and pie shop Portalbot. Have stopped of at this shop for years. Very polite ladies who's been serving on the counter for years ! Would reccomend a visit if driving past. Dont blink though as you'll miss the shop, it's small.

A fantastic local pie and pasty shop that sells great rissolls and Welsh cakes!
We stop here if passing for dinner in work or if we go away at the weekends we try and pop in here early afternoon as they close in the afternoons.

Staff are great and always do what they can too help... even if I ask for a stone cold Evan's pie but these are freshly made and are beautiful.

Used to be good tasting pasties and pies. However since covid the quality has dropped the pasties do not taste the same as before they have this strange taste to them that never used to be there and the pies are the same it's strange how something you used to like eating and tasted very good, now tastes horrible.

After many years of wanting to try these, I stopped by this morning for a nicely warm and warming steak and kidney pie. Witness the ample filling; the pastry is excellently buttery. I also have a cheese rissole for later. Worth the wait, and the stop.
