My son loves their ginger bread men, he had one as a treat at the end of the school week if he's been good 😊 I always have a Turkey salad roll which is yummy and the chicken tikka pasties are lovely too.

Used to visit more often for their cream slices, utterly indulgent.
Nothing has been added or changed as far as I can see in over 10 years, pity as I would love somewhere to start making a good sourdough wholemeal seeded loaf...

Was going to buy cakes but whilst waiting outside I saw they were wearing gloves. They were picking up the cakes whilst wearing them not tongs and then handling the money. One of the staff drop some jam and cream and scooped it up on her finger and spread it back on the cake using the same gloves. This is utterly disgusting. They don’t need to wear gloves. Use tongs which can be cleaned every now and then and wash your hands regularly.

The food is wonderful and freshly made everyday. We had breakfast rolls this morning and couldn't resist the cakes too! Very reasonably priced and great to see a food hygiene rating of 5!

Lovely fresh made rolls, not skimpy on the filling or salad . We really enjoyed them. Pies are lovely too, my partner is usually fussy when it comes to pies but he really enjoyed them lots of filling and not over the top with lots of pastry it was balanced out lovely. Also I like how they have a really good selection of cakes aswell.... I now know where to come to get my cakes for afternoon tea for the girls.... Scrumptious thankyou

Customer service in cefn fforest is terrible after visiting the shop many times queuing to go in and being served like everyone else being served then leaving the shop. But not today the lady that severed us today was lovely requested our rolls the lady went off to make them when another shop assistant came out and asked us to wait out side while the the rolls was being made as the que outside was getting bigger. 1st I had not finished making my order 2 I had not paid for my order 3 I had queued like everyone else and waited for people to finish in the shop. If she had asked nicely then it would have been different the lady had a bad attitude and I did not appreciate being spoken to like that so will not be visiting again. I did not complete my order and I did not purchase the rolls I ordered has I will not accept being spoken to like that. We was also told that we had been in there long enough. Didn't realise there was a timer has you walked through the door.

This is a lovely place. Busy this morning and nearly sold out. Waiting for a new batch of things cooking. Friendly helpful staff.
