Stuarts Artisan Bakery

Was shopping in the precinct a few days ago around lunchtime and my wife decided to pop in (we had never visited this bakery before). The door was wide open, but as my wife stepped into the store she was rudely pushed back out the door with an abrupt 'we're closed!' from a lady working there. We will not be visiting again and I guess the various stories we have heard about the rude staff at this establishment were not an exaggeration!

Tried some blueberry slice from the stall in Trostre Retail Park yesterday and have to say it was amazing! I will definitely look forward to having some more 😋

The focaccia is the best, I just wish they did the chilli cheese every day.

An outstanding artisan bakery so lucky to have one on our doorstep in killay. My favourites are the fresh fruit tartlets and custard slices. The cheese and onion pasties are amazing my husband and I love this bakery.

Don't make it easy to order Spelt bread.
Willing to pay for it upfront but as it's only available Wednesday morning
You have to book night before.It closes at 1.30 and if you dont get there by 9am there may be none left.
One lady was helpful to me as I have to get a bus there and she very kindly let me in and found a loaf I had ordered the day before.
It just seems so hard to get a Spelt loaf.

Last week we had some of the blueberry slices, cinnamon swirl buns, the focaccia rolls and veggie pasty - all tasted so, so good! The blueberry swirls were so light and delicious, loved having a cinnamon swirl with my coffee (plenty of icing on top) and the rolls were delicious, literally mouthwatering! The veggie pasty was full to the brim of gorgeous veggies, tasting superb! Have made regular customers of us, thank you!

Lovely food but the dark haired woman with a ponytail who aggressively told me to get out of the shop in Killay could learn a thing or two about customer service and just talking to people politely in general. Fair enough 1 person in the store at one time. But there is no need to talk to people like dirt. We came out of our way to visit here to be talked to like children. Though the food is great. we won't be visiting again for this reason.

Having been to Davies bakery in Sketty recently and being shocked at how terrible it was, thought we'd try Stuarts today. So so so much better. Delicious Focaccia with brie, rocket & cranberry. Very tasty carrot cake & fruit tartlet for pudding. Friendly service and nicely packaged. Excellent thank you!
