Great atmosphere

Having had highly invasive spinal surgery 9 months ago and a challenging time after the operation I’ve been actively working on a my recovery through exercise. I also wanted to learn how to dance and it was recommended by a Professor of Neurology and a surgical nurse that I do, more for the physical benefits than for the dance itself.
Having done a little research into private dance teachers and dance schools, I came across Arthur Murray and made an appointment to visit the Barnet Studio. I’m so glad that I did.
The teachers make it so easy to learn and to take their lead whilst dancing and they care about their students learning and what they want to achieve.
My brilliant teacher Rio has helped me to achieve better fluidity of movement through personalised lessons which challenge me in a safe way.
After only 5 personal and group lessons I can happily waltz around a room moving fluidly and it feels just brilliant.
They are a joy to learn from and they create a warm and friendly environment for the students who all happen to be great people to learn with.
Whatever anyone’s reason for wanting to learn how to dance I cannot recommend the Arthur Murray School of Dance highly enough

After ruining my morning at the Spires Shopping centre in Barnet with the Public Relations event so LOUD with the music that it would be impossible to go shopping or sit outside a cafeteria in the centre, I will be avoiding this place ad infinitum! There was no need to have the music on that LOUD!!!!! Inconsiderate and unprofessional!!
