Visited this branch earlier this week to pay money in. 2 cashiers only 1 willing to help, the other said was only taking enquires. Then a non ethnic person joins the que BEHIND me and hey presto she managed to jump the que and the 'enquires only' cashier allowed her to Pay money in before me. I have emailed the bank manager and asked is this acceptable?? Given there where 3 people in the que why was she entitled over the customers ahead of her? The ONLY difference is that particular customer was not black. The rest of us were....

Still awaiting a response from the Branch Manager.
Judging by the comments on here.. they really aren't bothered. Still livid that in 2020 racial discrimination is alive and kicking!

Very disappointing not to be able to talk to anyone on the phone unless you are prepared to share your sort and bank account details.
All I needed to know was if the Dartford branch took deposits for CAF bank.

AMAZING customer experience at this branch (and HSBC in general), very glad I am no longer with my previous bank!

Had to pop in to this branch today and was greeted by a lovely lady whose name I did not catch but she was incredibly helpful; I then had further assistance from a lovely kind lady named Ann who helped me setup the HSBC app on my new phone which I thought was going to be very painful but proved quite the opposite - she was very informative, friendly and helped me every step along the way.

Could not recommend the staff here any higher, 100/5 stars from me!!

Visited this Branch today, all staff I dealt with were so helpful and very patient with my enquiry.

The lady took one hour to try to upgrade my accound from Basic to Standart and in the ended she couldn't manage to do it, definetly incopetent and doesn't know what she is doing.

Useless , came back after 3 weeks on the date due to reopen...closed for another month. Closest branch is Bromley!!! Checked on Google and it said it was open.

Gheez... Proper school hours. 09:30 to 15:30 so that's "really" helpful. Not! Lucky Sidcup has closed and Orpington has no counter service. As a HSBC customer (when it was still Midland bank) it's been a long drawn out death for the retail side of HSBC's operation. Customer? What customer??

Rubbish. Got the feeling the staff wanted to get rid of me before closing, no real help. Wanted help with a closing statement after switching banks but said they couldn’t locate me in their system. This is rubbish as I went to another branch who were able to successfully help. Don’t recommend going here at all
