One of the bank's usp is they are open on weekends and whenever you go there on weekends the waiting time is min 45mins to 3 Hours.The usual lame exc
use is because of Sat/Sun we have less colleugues with us.
Also they will not put you in que you have to wait sitting there doing nothing.
que.
Call centers are also terrible they need more training.
Branches are usally clean and ample parking.

One and only bank chain that is open 362 days a year including bank Holidays and Saturdays and Sundays. If you lost yoir card you can have embossed on spot while visiting the branch.

I had a great experience at the branch ( or store as they call it).

The bank was bright and looked very modern. The staff were very professional and courteous.They were able to resolve all my queries including print a new card. If only all banks were like this. There is also an option for drive through banking (currently unavailable).

I also managed to collect a giant M - (which is actually a money box/ piggy bank to encourage saving) for my nephew.

Very impressive 👍.

Forced to go here as this is the only bank offering safe deposit boxes in the area. Made reservation for a box online and went into the store/branch. Actually went into the branch twice in past 3 weeks and had to turn back due to unrealistic wait times. Made my third visit today to claim the box reservation before it expires and had to wait for 1.5 hours after which took another 2 hours to open a bank account and link a safe box.
Go here only if you have a full day to spare and no other bank in area is offering service you are after.
Incompetent staff. Supervisors advised only specific staff member can open online account and that staff member ended up consulting that same supervisor for every step of process. Falling short of words to express my frustration.

A nice bank with helpful staff, BUT, the waiting times are much too long. I have now walked out twice after being told that the waiting time is "around" 45 minutes. This is a big branch, they need to sort out their staffing.

Extremely bad experience - just to access my locker I had to wait for an hour as no staff was free- if your branch is that busy than recruit more staff !!! Or have Appointments so people don’t have to wait !!! Banking should be made easy rather than spending a whole day for any query or access

I received outstanding customer service by Anil who is very patient, helpful and carries out his role well. Also the staff made the waiting time as convenient as possible.

Had a terrible experience trying to open an account with Metro Bank Slough. First, they said my documents were not complete. I went back another day to get the complete documents then the Customer service said their network wasn't steady and wouldn't be able to complete the account opening then he scanned my documents and asked me to return any other day to finish and I shouldn't bother to come with my documents as he has scanned everything. I then returned another day the staff said they wouldn't attend to me that day as they are busy and that I should come back again!!! I decided to give one last chance and returned yet another day and the staff asked for my a document. I told him the first person had asked me not to bother returning with them as they have all information they needed for the account opening. He said that was a different staff that he would need the documents else he would lose his job and asked me to go and return again!!!! I am beyond stressed unnecessarily and they don't care. Poor customer service. It's unbelievable. I have decided to go have an account with a worthy bank
