The employees are complete idiots. They purposely try giving you a high mortgage rate so they can recommend one of their friends outside of work who can do provide a better rate. Can't even complain as the managers might be on this scam

The staff are really helpful. Went with my mum and they looked after her. Way more staff helping inside so the external queue moved faster than my other bank and Halifax close later at 3.30pm which is a great help during covid.

Great service from the staff. The branch has been so well staffed through Covid and the staff ensure social distancing really well. Open longer than my other banks who are still only opening a few hours a day. Thank you Halifax for being so helpful.

Booked in for 9 am and while waiting in front of the bank got a call 2 mins before the appointment mentioning they can’t do it due to staff shortage

I booked an appointment today 6th of May 2022 in Halifax Slough high st branch. I brought my letter that was given to me with details and what to bring in appointment day. On arrival on d branch we’re taken inside and staff said they dont do face to face appointment anymore. I was so angry they didn’t tell us on the first place coz we where there a day before to arrange this appointment. It was unacceptable at all. I wasted my time that i need to take work leave for this. My mortgage with Halifax already 14 years and need to remortgage but the service in Halifax Slough branch is falling.

Worst branch of a bank ever, have had issues with Halifax staff in this branch in the past but today they showed their low level of professionalism again. It took an hour to get to know we are unable to sort out mortgage overpayment as would use different bank. What a waste of precious hour of my life. Stay away and use online or other branches if possible. Highly recommend NOT to use Halifax branch on High Street in Slough.

It provides the worst service, the employees say the same thing every day, they don't know anything about their duties, they spend hours grazing the customer while they are just talking and laughing. This will make us angry every time we leave the bank empty handed

Closed early without explanation. Wasted journey. Terrible service
