Shocking customer service - My contactless payment for £13.00 was randomly stopped at the supermarket, and fearing fraudulent activity on my account went to the branch to express concern. The manager was unsympathetic and on complaining threatened to close my account. I have now notified the Banking Ombudsman - if you value respectful customer service then do not bank here.

Today I came to Halifax Muswell Hill branch

Who name her self Natash davis look Mediterranean black hair I don’t believe she give me her real name!!
Because she knew she being horrible nasty arrogant towards me!

4:40 to make a transaction
She ask me for identification I pass her my driving license
She said Halifax don’t Recognis full UK driving license as ID
I Been ask to get my passport I left the bank drive home got my passport
Pass to her,
Then I ask her if she can show me about bank Doesn’t Recognise uk full driving license as ID
She show me same thing related but not clear!
I keep quiet Then she said she need ask her manager for transectionwhen her manager Maria came she try’s to help
When I and Maria start have Conversation She could not handle it !
she said she’s not serving me and I can go to different branch!
then her colleague name is Maria she came forward and help me out!
thanks to Maria and I will like to anybody who read that avoid that horrible terrible Oregon women may I will not return to that branch because of her and not Recommend anyone to go to that branch

I have to say the customer service I have received by Tiffany on last Tuesday was excellent, if I could give more than 5 start I would, very friendly and professional, my self work with pablick and a good old fashioned customer service goes along way. Thank you again Tiffany

Hello, my name is Mercedes. I'm shocked when my mum was telling me about the customer service in this bank. On Thursday (14.05.2020) she went to the bank and she wanted to change the notes for £1 pounds coins because our electricity box working like this way. And one of the staff told her ,, no we not gonna change because this is not your bank". I'm sorry what? I'm working in the hospitality more than 6 years and never in my life I heard this kind of customer service. Can you imagine if somebody do with you in the restaurant or hospital. ,,Sorry I'm not gonna serve you because this is not really important". If I do this with my guest (I'm working in hotel like waitress) I'm sure my manager gonna fired me. And unfortunately not the first time happened with her. Another situation was the same but one of the staff told her ,, I'm not gonna give you because the virus ". I'm sorry but use gloves if you afraid to catch something or dont work in this time. I understand this virus situation but I think we are all in this together and we help each other. Guys, almost finish this virus and everyone have to be kuku?! And I also understand this bank not our bank but we just want to change the notes for coins that's all. I think not a big favour to do that. If yes just leave the notice on the door ,,we not gonna do anything for the people". THIS IS NOT HOSPITALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I would love to say thank you for your help with my card issue. The service was super quick the ladies are kind and helpful. This was my 1st Halifax experience 5⭐️ Thank you Muswell Hill!

I Went into branch a few weeks ago and all of them really helpful and friendly, even though the fraud department took about 1 hrs to pick up the phone which was really annoying.

Would recommend that branch, amazing service and even help me find parking :)
