I would like to express my appreciation to a young HSBC staff called Julian. The fact is that I went to get a security key for online banking at this branch. However there was no stock in the office. He was so helpful to get a security key from another branch in person and gave it to me in a very short time. He’s so efficient and helpful. His working attitude and response to the need of customer should be highly appreciated. Thank you very much, Julian.

Review - RAJ (London - Baker St .branch): THANK YOU for your assistance yesterday morning.
I had the card blocked by the Fraud Department. After I called several times HSBC Fraud Department and get to speak with over 20 ´experts´ which spoke to me like robots (asked simple questions and got as an answer an invention/lie ) I decided to go to Baker St branch. I WAS ATTENDED BY RAJ (hope I am spelling his name correctly, apologies if not) WHICH WAS VERY POLITE AND EXTREMELY EFFICIENT. HE LISTEN (properly) AND CAME IMMEDIATELY WITH THE BEST SOLUTION FOR MY PROBLEM. HE WAS VERY QUICK, STRAIGHT TO THE POINT AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. His ´expert´colleagues that offer ´help´ over the phone SHOULD TAKE HIM AS AN EXAMPLE.

HSBC - please check your employees that offer services/advice over the phone. They have no knowledge about how the bank works, they offer ´informations´ that are not correct, are just lies (could be verified by us as customers); they hang off the phone several times when you ask them simple questions. I dealt with HSBC for the past 7 years and no matter what department you call, they are all terrible: no knowledge at all = useless; they are rude; hang off on you no matter how many times you call as you have a serious problem and as a result you get: angry customers which determine them to close down the account(what I was decided to do if I would not come across RAJ).
The departments that offer services over the phone are terrible, a totally disaster. If would not be the employees from the branches you would lose a hell of a clients.

Julian was extremely professional and very friendly. Explained everything really clearly with a step by step process. Really glad and happy with the experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is a new or existing HSBC customer!

We came here hoping to open a joint account. I expected there to be some delay or difficulty getting things going but the process was super smooth. As someone has difficulty with banking before I was delighted when Asen was able to help us efficiently and make sure we left the branch with all our queries resolved and with smiles on our faces. Given his outstanding service we will make sure to return to this branch anytime we have anything that needs to be done with HSBC. I suggest you do the same and make sure to ask for Asen :)

I walk in to open a bank account and left with a smile. It’s a rare thing to discover a bank that genuinely cares about the people it serves and HSBC UK baker street is that kind of bank. I want to thank Julian Rodriguez who shown me kindness, respect, professionalism, efficiency and a friendly smile. I can’t recommend them enough for all your banking needs – you won’t be disappointed!

I went down to this outlet this morning to open an account and was greeted with friendly staff that were keen and eager to find solutions to my problem. Special thanks to the branch manager, Mohammed Raj for his help. As soon as he stepped out the queue was settled really quickly! Overall, really impressed with the service of all the staff and will visit this branch again.

I would like to express my appreciation to the personnel of this store and specifically to a young officer called Julian Rodriguez who was super helpful and managed to answer all of my questions and open a bank account. I rarely meet so helpful and smiling personnel willing to collaborate with customers!!

The worst banking experience I've ever had. I can't access my own money in my "Premier" account. Spent hours on the phone every week just trying to get my payments to go through to another of my own bank accounts that actually paid me interest on my money. My HSBC app gets blocked by crazy banking security every time I try to send a payment to myself. I had to sit waiting in a smelly, busy branch for 45minutes despite having an appointment to be able to access my own money. No apology just rude staff. HSBC keeps talking to me about scams, but HSBC are the scam. Their Premiere banking is non existent and I notice no difference between this and a budget airline. Go to a challenger bank instead, I am. Would not be surprised if HSBC soon shuts down in Europe. Its totally unworkable.
