Friendly, chatty and efficient staff

First class professional service, as I was greeted by a lovely friendly lady who addressed me by name as I inserted my pin number, these things matter & show they care.

Last week I had cause to visit the branch and was pleased with the service received.

HOWEVER, attending an appointment today with Aggi was horrendous! She was over 10 minutes late for the appointment (made last week), gave the impression we were an inconvenience, abrupt and rude. Had it not been for the friendly service we have received previously I would have closed my account there and then!

Very happy with the recent service we received from all the staff that assisted us at Santander Christchurch. Friendly reception, easy to book appointments and very efficient. Special thanks to Jake Brown for a job well done, switching our accounts over to Santander has been seamless.

Booked appointment. Waited 30 minutes, no show and no attempt to contact regard to the original appointment. Unfortunately, no line to the branch so spent a further 20 minutes attempting to speak with someone. Disappointing process.

Sometimes busy, but always helpful

Called in to open my daughters first account, we were advised an appt would be needed, "but we will check to see if a slot is available today". Turns out not to be the case.
After requesting a non work day appt eg Saturday was offered Weds at 3.30pm second week in January.
Crossed over Christchurch High Street straight into HSBC...result account opened & fully operational within the hour.
Competition is great.
