Don’t waste your time! Just a social club for the staff and their friends. The Premier Suite is a word on a glass office door occupied by a member of staff wearing casual clothes with their shopping bags around the desk. The staff don’t have time to help with even the most basic of questions. Have no idea why this branch even exists.

The whole user experience has been terrible, I have been to the branch after 10 years or more, the layout has obviously been changed.
The signage are not very clear, after waiting for 10 minutes in the main area of the reception I was told the cashier service/customer service is on the 3rd floor which is located in the far corner looked more like a fire exit.
They really need to work on UX or clear signage layout. And customer service, not sure how the recruitments works, worse then Nigeria !

Friendly, polite and helpful staff. However this branch no longer has a counter service hence the low review. All the local HSBC branches seem to be closing for some reason.

This is only my opinion and my experience with HSBC in Bethnal Green! I was always happy with this branch, and staff who's working there were always helpful and kind with me. They gave me few opportunities and excellent service. So I can't say nothing bad about this branch.

They listen but cant solve problem and tell you go home it will be okay.

A total waste of my morning.
While the staff were helpful rhey led me down the garden path and after helping me with my account. I received a call some hours later telling me my I couldn't have a debit card.
So I went straight to the Lloyds App and made an application with them and I was didn't have to leave the comfort of my own home and it was all sorted in less than 20mins.
Avoid HSBS, the systems they have in place are a complete and utter wate of time.

yeah, worst bank of england. I get scammed so many times with them (more than 8 times in 4,5 months). Problem, problem, problem, is not a bank, is a circus. Also, online banking never work, i almost lost a flat once. Please dont go there.
