A terrible experience with the new feature they added. Can’t pay in with someone’s card but in other branches that have machines allow me to deposit without any hassle from the staff. Staff were not useful as they couldn’t help me for 20 minutes. This branch has caused many problems for me in the past years.

Was busy as it's a Saturday, but staff seemed very helpful. Barclays can't be blamed for the quantity of customers

worst bank in llanelli ,kept me waiting over 20 minutes and refused to give MY MONEY until i waited to see a manager ,left in disgust and made a formal complaint , this branch is operating a rogue hostile enviroment towards anybody withdrawing money and is not consistant with the other barclays branches in gorseinon and carmarthen which treat customers with respect ,voting with my feet closing all accounts

Nothing against the staff of Barclays or my local branch but we have all seen some of the devastating effects of climate change on the news; fires, floods and landslides, leading to human suffering. The rate of destruction of nature by large conglomerates is not stopping and we are losing important parts of our planet's ecosystems at a very high rate. Scientists call this the 6th largest mass extinction event. These ecosystems support our food systems (and oxygen)!

Unfortunately, Barclays is, to this day, still acting as one of the climate action delayers, only thinking of short-term profits! Is this strategy viable in the long-term?

In case you are not aware of the details of Barclays’ ecocidal investment regime, I’ve included some information below:

Since the Paris Agreement in 2016, Barclays have supplied £105bn in finance for fossil fuel projects, including £20bn in 2020 alone.

In 2015, the government signed the Paris Climate agreement committing to limit global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees. Since then, Barclays’ financing of fossil fuels has increased, not decreased.

Unlike some other banks, Barclays has set no final exit date for coal; in fact, between 2018 and 2020, it was the fifth largest lender in the world to the coal industry. This is incompatible with the government’s commitments made at COP26.

I’m currently losing the Will to live, waiting in the Llanelli branch for the second time this week, last time we were here for an hour. Presumably the ridiculous lack of staff is to get customers used to a lack of service before they finally shut down the branch completely, like every other bank. Please note Barclays and co, not everyone has online banking and there are some people who wouldn’t be able to, like my elderly blind father. Get a grip banks.

Apparently because of covid barclays bank on a Saturday can't allow you to put cheques or cash into your account. I've heard some crazy things in my life but that tops it
I'm so glad I drove the 20 miles to my nearest branch for a wasted journey. The app doesn't accept Scottish cheques.
Words cannot describe how furious I am.
To use covid as an excuse for their incompetence is getting old.

Carey was brilliant with my problem, the proof of the pudding will be when I receive my May statement for the Club, otherwise all the staff at Barclay's are just great
