Dear HSBC,

To whom it might concern.
On my visit to my local branch in Bridgend on Saturday 3rd of October ,i was disappointed to find that the bank is no longer open on Saturday morning. I work during the week and cannot get to my branch before 4pm on a weekday when they close . I`m sure i`m not the only customer that has this problem . I needed to deposit cash using your machines as that is the only way that my father can pay me for his shopping .He cannot access internet banking ,thus not able to complete BACS transfers. These opening hours are not suitable for all and i hope that a solution could be found whether it be extending weekly opening hours or opening again on Saturday mornings. . Please respond !!!!!

Don't go here if you want cash out, they don't have cash counter, so not only have they closed the cash counter, if you want more than a £1000 out you have to go to COWBRIDGE WHAT IF YOU CANT GET THERE. A bank that won't give you your money!

Hsbc in Bridgend closed on a week day no notice up or reason or if or when it will reopen. Since the counter service and Saturday were taken away customer service has drop to new low in terms access the bank and services needed real shame as staff were good and helpful.

Staff courteous to provide masks but can't help more than increasing limit of withdrawal?! What's that? I don't think the branch can stay open long. Over staffed then and over paying on rent. Can have an ATM with 2 staff to rotate with the same services. Deposits possible as well but again through machine. Don't know if the manager is thinking long term enough.

09;30 to :16:30, Monday to Friday only.

So, no chance of getting to this branch if you work, unless you work in the town and get a proper lunch break.

Whereas other bank branches are still open on Saturday mornings, but the world's second largest bank can only open M-F and not for working people. Time to change after 35 years.

Currently you can't open a child's my savings account in branch because of covid. Frankly it seems like an excuse to provide as limited service as possible despite restrictions being lifted.
