Station Pub & Grill

Food was hit and miss. The home made chips were not chips, they had been boild to death then dipped in a fryer. So greasy and to soft to be classed as chips. The fish and onion rings were really greasy too. Not only that, but when we arrived, we were told half the menu wasn't available.

Its a dog friendly pub so I nipped in for a pint for me an water for the dog, which was most welcome on a hot day. Didn't eat this time but when I have it was good pub grub and a nice selection of real ales.
Only thing I would say the establishment needs to be freshened up but that's down to the brewery.

Don't get me wrong, the food was lovely but the Salmon and the Lamb were a little on the dry side. Maybe cooking the Lamb in the mint gravy would be something to consider?
The staff were lovely and helpful.
All in all, a lovely visit :)

After being told this wasn't "up to much" (something that was also said to Einstein) we decided to give it a go anyway. We were very pleasantly surprised. Good food, drinks at reasonable prices. Great service. Couldn't fault it. And...
There's always something happening at weekends. Give it a go.

Second visit and it's such a lovely pubarestaurant! Busy both times we've been (one Friday evening, 1 Saturday evening) but not so rammed you can't get a seat (don't know what it's like later in the night). Food is fabulous and the staff are all very friendly, polite and attentive 👍🏻 Plus, it's in a very handy spot with lots of parking - but don't drink and drive, obviously 🚗+🍺=❌

First time I've been in here just popped in for a light lunch, very nice place, clean and tidy, tables available with no waiting, there was seating available inside and out, chose to sit inside. I just picked a sandwich which came with a side salad and nachos and my husband had a regular cheese burger also came with side salad and chips,we both had cappuccino to drink. The service was very good and the staff were friendly and efficient and polite. Would definitely go again.

We stopped here after our walk through witch woods. We had the Sunday lunch, beef with all the trimmings! It was lovely. Nice helpful staff, spacious surroundings!
