This has got to be one of the best pubs to eat in in Gloucester. The staff are very polite and friendly when you get there - straight away making you feel welcome. The pub itself inside is nice, clean and actually makes you want to stay. The food choice was good and everything was in stock. Ordered at the counter and food came out in a reasonable time and was excellent. Very nice food and everyone was impressed. This is family dining as it should be - many thanks. Even the outside terrace area is a nice touch 👌. There is plenty of dining space outside aswell as inside and ample parking

Impressed to find a few vegan options on the menu. Vegan chilli burger was great, dessert could be improved, but good to see one on the menu!

Absolutely appalling.

High chair was dirty. Not very busy but told half an hour wait due to "everybody ordering at the same time" ended waiting an hour for food to arrive. Brought over by a miserable looking woman who just put our food on the table in a huff. Cheese burger was overcooked and the cheese wasn't even melted. Just a slice of cold cheese. Won't come back. If I wasn't with my hungry 2 year-old, I would of sent food back and got a refund.

Nearly an hour wait for food. Rare steak served well done. Sunday roast chicken was a dry griddled chicken breast with a couple of spoonfuls of gravy and they wanted 70p for more. Serving staff nice but they seemed very stressed.

Stopped here for lunch with some friends, and it was the usual pub grub. Not great, but not bad either. Food was served quickly, and the fella who served us (called Ryan, I think) was fantastic; a friendly lad who made sure we had a good time.

Although busy drinks and orders taken swiftly and staff very polite. Food arrived in good time and again was lovely. Nice atmosphere and we enjoyed our evening out.

This pub is excellent for breakfast and you definitely get more breakfast than weatherspoons. All the staff are polite and friendly and the food is good quality. The unlimited refill on the coffee is added bonus. I will definitely will be coming back.

We love this place. It’s our local pub and a firm favourite. We’ve been going here for over 20 years. The staff are always friendly, lovely atmosphere, food is great value for money and they do blue light discount too !! Quiz evenings, poker night, live sports on tv, occasional live music (Suggs tribute last night was fab) and much more. It’s not a posh restaurant- just a great friendly pub with hard working staff who are very accommodating. Definitely worth a visit
