Very helpful and friendly staff. The owner is such a nice bloke, you feel very welcome as soon as you walk in the door. The food is excellent, and they asked if we'd like it to come as it was ready or all at once so we could eat as a group, very thoughtful. We will be coming back!

Fairly big party, the food took a while but there was 11 of us. All food was delivered together and all hot. 4 of us ordered the steak and all 4 of us commented not on the quality of the cooking which was great but all 4 pieces had lots of gristle.

Slightly disappointing tonight, went for a family birthday, table of 9..3 of our choice of main meal were not available, 2nd choice steaks were not cooked as requested, mixed up by waitress. Calamari starter,halloumi fries and chicken nuggets all over cooked. Waitress did not ask If we wanted extra sauces etc, did not check in on us throughout the meal or else we would have mentioned our issues. Even when clearing our plates we we weren't asked If everything ok and 2 of our group were barged into when the plates were picked up.

Good value, hot food (which some food venues fail to understand). Pleasant friendly staff. Nice local.

1st time I've been here in years, was a good locals pub owned by Bass. This time it's a sizzler type food pub, charging locals in the bar very expensive prices for drinks. Won't be using this place again. Ps the bar stops serving at 9.30.

Love a Thursday pub quiz. Daisy is my favourite bar maid, always so pleasant (and lady with blonde hair tied back, but I'm terrible with names).

Warm atmosphere. Good local.

The foods and the portion size were good. Keep up the quality and service. Definitely recommended.
