Honestly can’t rate this pub high enough, staff are always really friendly & helpful.
Been a couple of times recently, staff have always gone above & beyond to help.
Food has always been a good quality and great value for money.
Excellent views of the Menai Bridge, particularly lovely to stay and watch the sunset on a clear evening.
Plenty of parking next to the bridge (just make sure you register your car at the bar).

Can't fault them. I arrived later in the day to find that unfortunately they had a few pre booked parties and was also short staffed, this is no fault of thiers.

I was able to pleade for a seat as I was just on my own but was advised there may be a delay in service due to the short staff issues.

This wasn't a issue for me as I'm in no rush and enjoyed my drink.

Despite what was said my starter arrived very promptly and was fantastic, main followed as swiftly as the starter did.

Food was hot, cooked to a great standard.

Great food choice, staff very friendly. Good location and good car park. Lovely food. Great value for money.

Car park side of pub is a pay by phone or free if you enter your car reg in a keyboard in the pub, staff tell you to seat anywhere you like so got a window view overlooking the Menai straight, menu is a basic pub menu, order food at bar and drinks at the same time, cos it wasn't that busy food came quickly and was really nice and tasty and hot ,the staff member that served me at the bar came to the table with the food aswell, she was a lovely polite and friendly young lady, had no problems with our food as no one came back to see if everything was okay, the pub itself could do with a bit of tlc as seats where stained tables where sticky and floor needs a good hoover ,but the food was good staff nice so maybe an off day on the cleaning side ,would have got 4 stars but cleaning let them down

A nice pub with decent food. Been here twice now, the first time we didn't eat in the end as I understand they didn't have much of the menu due to delivery issues. Not a big issue but a little frustrating that we weren't warned in advance as we had booked well ahead of time. The second time was much better and the food was quite nice in the end, but they didn't seem to have a lot of vegan options unfortunately. Excellent drinks selection though, and staff were very friendly as well. I will definitely visit again for a drink, perhaps not for a full meal though.

Waited 20 minutes to get our drinks after ordering as staff continued to serve others before completing previous orders. Food came before we got our drinks! Food- kids chicken burger had side missing and bun that hard you could have used it to plaster a wall with. Scampi came with horseradish sauce instead of tartare sauce 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Food not that great or hot and the service was awful. Have had great experiences here in the past but after today we wont be back 😔

Tables were very dirty everywhere. Pub wasn't at full capacity and all the tables around us hadn't been cleared for our entire stay. Bad first impression. Having been a waiter myself, it takes 2 minutes tops to clear and clean a table, doable within an hour.
Smelt of damp.
No table service.

Food was nice and came relatively quickly. Cheap prices.

Not really any ambience.

Decent.

Really good family meal. I would defo return. The staff are very friendly. We went with a few of our family. All of our immediate family meals where very good.
A few small issues with other families meals however they did offer to recook. Again a bit of an issue with deserts but it was rectified very quickly. If I was passing I would go again.

Again staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
