Was invited back by the manager, Joe. Your staff upon arrival were lovely. We was seated at a table and the member of staff that came to take our order was a delight. He also accommodated my enquiry of a move of tables (due to my toddler becoming distressed from a strange environment and out of routine) which I am pleased to say, I applaud your inclusive approach to disabilities, not many places are so understanding and accepting of requirements.
Food was lovely too. I had the mixed grill and upgraded to the rib eye. Children thoroughly enjoyed theirs too and even my toddler enjoyed a few bites of hers ☺️. Had a chocolate fudge cake with custard for dessert and the children had a 'create your own sundae'. I didn't eat much of mine as it was a bit dry but in context, I left it for a while as I was tending to my toddler and her jelly so it was no longer warm. The children enjoyed it though and finished it off.
There was a bit of a communication error towards the end but it was rectified so thank you.
I want to thank the manager for the invite back to your establishment and it was a shame I never had the opportunity to thank you personally so I shall thank you via this with thanks to the male staff that tended our table tonight. Would you please pass my appreciation on to them please for all they did and thank you so much Joe!

Staff are welcoming with great hospitality. Food was burnt and salad was shriveled. Was ok as was starving but doubt I'd order the same if I went back.

Came along last Saturday as part of a group of 8, we had not booked in advance but a couple of tables were soon joined together. We were a bit disappointed that there were no real ales and that the beer was served in plastic glasses - apparently due to a fight being live on TV. My food was really enjoyable. I know a mistake was made with another meal but this was quickly rectified without problem. What made the difference was the staff. They were pleasant, welcoming and gave as good as they got (especially Olivia!) It all made for a really nice happy night in a friendly atmosphere.

Salad missed 80% of the ingredients, it was just lettuce tomato cucumber. and EXTRA JALAPENO, even tho we asked (and even pointed on the menu) for halloumi cheese, as topping.

Side order onion rings never arrived also. Very disappointing.

What an absolutely fantastic time we had at a special night at The Village Inn with Tina Sparkles. We didn't stop laughing and the venue had been set up so well. It felt so intimate and was such a bargain price too, including a shot!! Absolutely gorgeous food made by Liv and served very quickly. We hope more events like this happen again. Highly recommend!!

Awful. Staff just blank you and walk away when you approach the bar. Kept us waiting over 20 minutes for ice cream and with a child who has additional needs it’s not easy to keep them happy for that long. We ordered the sizzling grilled chicken, it states it has “lemon & pepper seasoning with a garlic dressing” it literally came with a blob of garlic butter on the top, no lemon taste at all. The food was basically bland. Stick to beefeater. The menu shows a free drink with a main meal when you use the QR code…yet it didn’t come up and we were just shrugged at when we asked at the bar.

Not the best experience…. Not for the staff they were lovely, the food sadly let the place down, ordered the steak with garlic prawns, my steak was over cooked after ordering medium rare, time my food came back out all the rest table had finished their food I was even full from my chips and sides when it did arrive, not the best dining experience, would recommend they give steak knives out with the steaks … also couldn have bbq sauce unless we paid for it

Always a pleasant atmosphere inside, lovely seating, free car park, clean toilets and decent service. However, on our last visit for breakfast with a lot of us being veggies, we were thoroughly disappointed as they had run out of eggs and that was a big let down ! But generally speaking a good place to visit

I take my hats off to all the Staff and managers for all the hard work they put into this Xmas breakfast with Santa 🎅 🧑‍🎄 it looked stressful but they pulled it off with a Happy Ending that to me was 💯 teamwork Thank you very much everyone. Orrrr by the way your food was fantastic I really Enjoyed my breakfast 😋 😀 😊 😄 ☺️ 😁 😋 😀 😊 Have a fantastic Xmas everyone and a Happy New year for 2023.xxxxx
