Stu's Barber Shop

Says opens at 9 but I'm still sat here in the cold at quarter past - apparently tends not to turn up until late! Why have opening hours!! If you don't have all day to wait suggest find another barber.

Almost half 9 now and still waiting!

Ok - it's almost 945 so giving up - other customers say he normally doesn't bother turn up until approaching 10! But they say he does a good cut. I'm off to Raunds.

Popped in today for a trim and was seen quickly!

The Barber was extremely friendly and did an absolutely excellent job and at a very reasonable price!

Stopped off here on the way along the A14. One small child in the chair in front of me, so a slight wait, but that's fair enough.

Stu: "Sorry about the wait. But don't worry, I'll give you the best haircut you've ever had!"

A bold claim, for sure. But it bloody was.

(Annoying, really, since I live in Birmingham and probably won't be passing again any time soon. 😂)

I'd been growing my beard out for the last few months so it was a bit wild to say the least. I showed Stu a photo of how I wanted it shaped. Just a quick glance and he knew exactly what he had to do. He did it exactly how I wanted it. He is a friendly guy who has built up a good base of customers. I will certainly be going back to keep my beard in shape. I didn't see a card payment machine so I'd advise you take cash with you to be safe. He says he opens at 0900 but I'd advise you to arrive afterwards as he arrives when he arrives. There is a nice cafè next door where you can grab a quick tea while you wait for him. I do recommend him.

Ive been a customer at Stuart's barbers for over 7 years now. Does a Excellent job cutting my hair and is always up for a bit off banter with you and chat with you while cutting your hair.

Never had a bad haircut at Stu's. Top bloke with great scissor action.
