A great place to get your hair done. Have used a couple of barbers in the past but none have touched these. Hair feels so much better and I can now longer between cuts. On most visits me and my son have our hair done by Gary can highly recommend him does a great job and is fantastic with kids which is good if you have nervous ones 😀

My partner has been using Gary for years. He is a good stylist and his hair cuts are always spot on. The place is very COVID safe. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Gould’s Barbers. The booking system
Makes the whole experience a lot easier!

I have been using Gould barbers since it opened, always had a great experience with all members of staff, very professional, clean and quick. Stuart has been cutting my hair for years, always done a great job and never had any complaints. Would highly recommend their service.

Paying for Inexperienced and Poorly Trained Barbers

In many countries, each barber charges a different price, this lets you choose someone with experience for more money or pay less for inexperience.

Here you pay the same and it seems new and experienced barbers are mixed together.

I had the unlucky fortune of getting an inexperienced barber.

Seems Gould trains people or hires people who can only cut one hairstyle, as displayed in the pictures. Short back and sides with clippers.

The barber I got can't cut longer styles and had very little experience, which he confessed to me. He kept asking me how to cut something then not actually doing. He was being very slow and cautious that I just accepted it as it was. Then combed my hair bizarrely at the end and left it wet ... I thought he was preparing to blow dry it. I was lost for words and didn't want the confrontation, so I paid and left.

He was friendly but you need to be able to cut a range of basic hairstyles at a barbers, I'm not there for the conversation.

I will never return, not just to this but any Gould brand. Clearly they don't vet barbers for experience.

For people who do like short back and sides. I recommend you just buy clippers and do it yourself. First goes will look bad maybe, but it's not a hard haircut to master. Save yourself the $20, don't give these cheap barbers like Gould money.

Brilliant place to get yourself a haircut. They have trainees there so you can bag a haircut for £3 which in these times are brilliant.

I’ve stuck with the same barbers for years and decided to try a new one! I got my haircut by Daisy and I’m so happy I made the decision to change! She was really friendly and I enjoyed every part of the experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an attention to detail cut or if you want a good and fun chat 😊
