The Barbers of Bovingdon

As nice as the ladies in there are, at the end of the day, you're paying money for a haircut, not a chit chat, so unfortunately I was very much disappointed with my haircut. When i asked for a skin fade, they said they couldn't do it. So I had to opt for a 0.5 blended into a 1. She ended up giving me a 2 into a 3, which for me is way too long. The way it was blended was very messy, going up and down. Would not recommend to people who want even a 4/10

Excellent hair cut today, I always find Dawn and crew such a pleasure to talk to and always such a nice greeting when I walk in.
It was a bit different today by the way of booking a slot, but it was easy enough to do, in fact, it worked beautifully as I sanitised,walked in and the they were ready so no waiting.
I haven't been anywhere else for years.

Went to this Barber shop for the first time the other week after being at my current barbers for the last 10 years. And the Barbers of Bovingdon made me feel so welcome with their friendly manner, and being very professional. They gave me a Great Haircut with a great fade i will definitely be using them for my future trims. Thank you Guys.

The shop is spacious with nice chairs (see my photo) but could do with a larger waiting area, as only room for about 3 people on the bench seat.
There is parking right outside the shop on its frontage, though be very careful when reversing out onto the main road and don't hit the lamp post.
The mainly lady 'barbers' are very friendly and chatty, but get the job done compentely and in a satisfactory time, unlike ladies 'hairdressers' who usually take forever. They interpret my rather vague needs well.
They have now reintroduced a loyalty card scheme since being under new ownership.

PS. The waiting area seating has now been noted and increased after a minor refurbishment by new ownership.

My son has been coming here regularly for a couple of years and is always happy with the result

Been coming here for 10ish yrs and never left unhappy(and I'm very fussy) michelle cuts my hair and is 10/10, along with everyone else. The owner, anise is a great bloke aswell. All staff are very welcoming and a good laugh
