Close Shave

Popped in today so I thought id leave a review ;0) as promised.

This is how a barbers should be. The only place that does a thorough SKILLED job of my hair. I will always time my haircut with leaving work as I work in berkhamsted and live 18 miles away.(that said I have been known to make the 18 mile journey on a Saturday just to get my haircut).
I didn't realise until I started using Close Shave how my local places are too cheap and slap dash to bother with.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced. Got the cut I asked for and nothing was a problem.

Slow Service. I was a walk-in with one bloke in the chair and no-one waiting before me. So after over 25mins waiting, listening to the conversation with not a word uttered in my direction about how long I'd be waiting, and with merely a cursory glance over at me, I decided to call it and left. Very slow to serve, disinterested in helping/advising waiting customers and seemingly understaffed. Would not recommend.

Best Barbers in Berkhamsted They know their trade through years of experience. Its worth waiting for a cut. The reason there is often a queue because of the quality.

No booking, so shortish wait to be seen ~ good haircut by friendly barbers. Quite often there's three guys in there cutting hair, so wait time isn't usually long, unless you're 17th in the queue. Very pleased with my result !
UPDATED : I have been using these guys for well over 10 years now, and still think they're good at what they do, and their prices are very good too compared to alternative barbers in town.
