Golden Scissors

I always use to come here to get my hair cut always good quality and good price but it was my first visit in a while and a poor experience, the guy cutting my hair did a really bad job and overcharged me for the hair cut I only went in for a standard cut and beard trim and it cost £30! I won't be coming back again.

Came into the fleet branch, as I have done many times before, it started off good when first opened, but has been declining since. I decided to treat myself with a beard trim as well as my usual haircut. NEVER get any shaving done here. The barber I had was quiet and barely spoke to me but was rough and I have 2 noticeable cuts on my throat and I can feel more on the back of my neck. I wear glasses with a heavy prescription and so I can hardly see during the haircut but normally I am prompted at certain stages to check I am happy. This barber did not talk to me at all about how much I wanted off nor did he check it was okay before drenching my hair with hairspray (did not ask if I wanted it or offer any alternative, I usually have wax). He then brushed the hair into itself to make it look short but it’s probably no more than .5cm shorter than when I went in. The beard trim was much shorter than I asked for, I will give the barber that it is blended well at least. Really disappointed and I will not be using this or any other golden scissor any time soon. Throat like a chopping board and charged for clippers to be run around the back and sides essentially. Unfortunately, I know this is my experience with a certain barber but I didn’t get his name to warn anyone else on who specifically to avoid, I can only describe him as young and one of the larger barbers in the shop. To be safe make sure you get a barber with more experience or use a different establishment entirely.

New to the area so needed to find a barber. First visit was okay, second visit was one of the best haircuts ever then onto the third…. Sides are uneven and my goodness did he take a lot off the top. I initially said nothing off the top but he said just a little to which I agreed. I said just the tips. Next thing I saw was a good two inches fall off. What can you do at this point as the damage has been done. From a side part I essentially have a crew cut. Not best pleased and will unfortunately not be returning.

Really decent haircut in a comfortable and professional salon. Love the hot towel at the end! ✂️ 💈 💆‍♂️

Excellent, great price and great haircut from Doğan. The hot towel was a good addition.

Simple, fast service, they will do full shaves with the steam etc but even for a simple cut you get a hot towel treatment included. Cash only so top up before you visit.

Always go here and normally good. But today was just rushed, lazy and couldn't be arsed. I asked for about 3 things to get neatened up and at the end of the haircut he asked me which direction I styled my hair even though you could see and I told him at the start. Not very happy and won't be going back. Use the kurdish barber shop instead.
