Edwards Barber Shop

Went in today for a haircut and got really good service. loved the little details like using old jack daniels bottles for water spray. liked the fact that when i got asked what I wanted and just said a haircut the barber didn't bite my head off for not knowing what I wanted (I've had that before from where I used to go). Not being an expert on what makes a good haircut though, I can't comment on the job itself. but I'm pleased with the job they did so I guess that speaks for itself.

so in short, the job was good, the staff were friendly. I would recommend and will definitely be ditching my old place and going here from now on.

I have used this barbers three times now. I've not had to wait more than 5 minutes on any occasion and they've always done a good job. They check with me how I want things done as they go and make suggestions to help me get to the result I want. Admittedly I'm not a very demanding customer, but for my needs they're great.

I’m a bit fussy about it and I’m having high expectations from barbers! Also, they ask a lot of questions and making sure it’s what you want!

Had a haircut by Lee, fitted me in despite having a few bookings and had a great haircut for only £12. Incredible value, his attention to detail was amazing and I’ll definitely be back

Dropped in for a beard trim and was seen right away. A very nice job.

Updated review: I went here during lockdown with my 7 y o son. They didn't ask his name but half way through his haircut someone with an appointment came in - when the found out my son was not called Tom (which they's never asked about), they turfed him out with his hair half done. I've never been back and nor have many of my friends. Downgraded from 4* to 1*.

I think this place has changed hands recently, the old couple have gone and young tattooed guys run it now. Had a good haircut, exactly what I asked for, which is rare (and I'm a bit fussy). The only downside for me was the barbers carry on conversations between themselves as though the customers are not there. But since I get a good haircut I guess that doesn't matter, I'm not there to socialise.
