Chaps

Yesterday was my 24th visit to Dan at Chaps - not that I was counting, but I finished my 3rd loyalty card! He’s the best hairdresser I’ve ever had in this country. Absolutely consistent, and with a degree of thoughtfulness and precision that one usually has to pay serious money for.

The girls are nice and friendly, the hair cut wasn't bad, but wouldn't recommend due to the psychotic guy working there who struts around like a tattooed silver back on cocaine.

He gives a real air of unease to the whole experience. To be avoided.

Shame.

Been going to see Clare for years. The team all cut hair great and Clare runs a really good barbers. If you're in St.Albans go get a haircut, you wont be disappointed

Excellent service. The shop looks fabulous. You could say it's in a great condition. I take my son there for haircuts. The staff are friendly and very skilled and gave him a smart haircut. They gel very well with their customers. To get to the root of the matter, the bald fact is that Chaps is excellent.

I've shopped around and tried a few places since moving out of St Albans last year. I had the opportunity to be in the city, so booked an appointment for old time sake - and have to tell you I miss this place. They cut your hair EXACTLY as asked. No hoping and praying the person gets it near it enough to what you asked, or cut it a lot shorter than your 'just a little off the top' request. You will never be disappointed coming here!
