Great barbers, have been having my haircut here for years, everyone of the barbers is highly trained and give you the cut you want.
In recent times Paul has acquired a liquor licence and now opens in the evenings Thursday, Friday and Saturday, again chilled atmosphere, fantastic selection of gins and most recently now Morretti on draft.
Pay them a visit soon, you'll not regret it.

Fantastically awful experience from end to end : the barber simply did not know how to cut hair and, astonishingly, refused to apply the instructions I gave him. His hands were also reeking of cigarette and the whole place had questionable hygiene, with used pizza boxes flying around.
With the large amount of very good barbers in St Albans it is puzzling how such bad service can even exist, but one thing for sure, I will never come back to this dreadful place.

Get my hair cut in the day and drinks in the Gin bar it turns into at night. I would highly recommend a visit in the day or night

Previously felt like I had been rushed to have my haircut in time but the last time I went was the opposite the person I had was very nice and left me very satisfied with my haircut.

Best barber shop in St Albans in my opinion, love the vibe in there and always look forward to popping in. And yes, the hair cuts are top notch!

Paul was very good, could tell he took great care in cutting my hair and did exactly what I asked for. Didn't feel like I was just another customer trying to be rushed through a trim and he actually took care to understand what I wanted and the look I was after. Great hair cut and good service.

First time using Phoenix, but how refreshing to have someone (Charlie) take time to cut my hair properly and consult on what they were doing. Definitely a step up from my other local barber experiences. Will definitely be back and maybe even for a drink in the evening!

Had a lovely time enjoying a couple of gin and tonics from a wide selection of available gins. Service very efficient and friendly. Perhaps it would be a good idea to offer a plate of bread sticks /crisps for a nominal cost (perhaps £2?) if required.
