Vakis Barbers

My fiancé uses the barber shop regularly, and he always leaves very happy with the outcome. Very tasteful decor and excellent value for money, especially in this part of London. The barbers there are friendly and it is very apparent that they’ve been in the trade for a long time, which is always reassuring. He has been a regular customer for the last four years and will not think twice of moving.

My husband has had his haircut at Vakis and he really liked the decoration and the atmosphere. The haircut was great also at a very reasonable price .

They can’t do nice haircut, I tried them twice. And asking to pay cash only, suddenly. Not worth it to go there. Waste of money. Asking if you don’t mind if they use a blade from previous customer, it’s awful. I asked to keep my natural lines, but dude shaved side lines such a weird way, too high, not matching to another side, awful.

Very bad experience. I showed the barber proper image and how you should maintain the hair. Let me tell you something, a barber who only uses machine and no scissors is not really a barber. He made a Mr.Bean haircut despite the fact that I told him to keep side low and upper hair to be a little longer. I look like a clown.

Secondly, he f-ed up the beard by shaving wav too low under the cheeks. He made me look like a magolian. I have razor burns on my neck and also on my back. I tried taking a shower and the whole neck was irritating.

Worst experience ever. Better to go to a different buyer. Also they accept cash only no idea how they report their taxes.

I was an hour early for my interview so I searched for a good barber in this sea area so I found this. I was a walk-in customer and Mush did an amazing jobs and I totally love it! Would definitely comeback!

The way I asked for my hair to be cut was completely ignored and I got a very high and poorly done fade. I am having to go to another barber to get it sorted out. The guys are friendly and the price is pretty good but that doesn’t really matter if you have to pay someone else to sort it out!

Top quality for the price and staff have always been great.

Given these guys a fair few chances now, but the one star reviews on here are scarily accurate. Could ask for anything from low fade to mullet and would still walk out with the same weirdly shaped high fade from them only using the shaver and no scissors. Won’t be going back now. Lovely blokes and really cheap, but they should invest in more training and hike the prices if they want repeat custom
