Big Jims Trims

I don't usually chat to my Barber - I feel it might distract and I could lose an ear, or worse - end up with a bad haircut.
However, these guys are awesome barbers. Popped in on the off-chance after dropping wife off at her hair thing down the road. Got a fantastic cut from Barry and had a great chat - thanks mate.
It's got a cool vibe, filled with people who clearly love what they do. I will definitely return and I might even trust them with a shave.

These guys are the best you'll get in Chiswick. The owner, Jim is a really nice guy and ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction. One of the barbers, Ed, I have had my hair cut by for years and when he moved to this place I followed suit. All I can say is, I walk out every time very pleased with the cut he's done. Couldn't recommend these guys enough!

Haircut for my son:
- Asked the barber if he could do a trim as per one of the movie star photos, barber said he did not know who that was
- Performed a hair cut ending up in hair of different lengths needing a re do in a different place.

Been coming to Big Jim's in Chiswick since it opened around 15 years ago.

At that time the shop was a little way down the street. Anyway, with the increasing number of Barber Shops appearing in every neighbourhood, I thought It was time to leave a review,.

I have always had great service from Wade, Barry and the team. If I am daft enough to go the week before the schools go back then sometimes I have to wait a short time while Chiswick parents instruct the barbers what to do with Balthazar and Melchior's hair, as though they are in a Mayfair salon. (Hint: a clue is the name. BARBER. NOT SYLIST). The wait is not a problem.

Barry manages my beard brilliantly and I am sure the other Barbers are great too, since you often hear customers saying they're waiting for a particular team member. Prices are great. Service is great, cuts and chat are great.

IMHO don't go anywhere else. 5 stars all the way.

I've had my hair cut by both Natasha and Matteo, and I was very happy with both bookings. Both are incredibly friendly, open to having a decent chat and very good at what they do. Prices are competitive for Chiswick.

Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a cut in the area.

Sensible service, though with very rushed, cookie cutter experience. Though the hairdo looked presentable straight off the chair, there were many stray hair and dubious snips that I found after the first hair wash.
There are better hairdressers around Chiswick, and there are cheaper ones too. This is neither.
