I just had a very disappointing experience at Kiko. Last time I was there I had a good hair cut, and the man who cut my hair was very pleasant and professional. This time I had a bigger man.. he was on the phone and seemed irritated at having to take a customer. He stayed on his call as I told him what I wanted, and remained on the call as he absent-mindedly cut my hair. Finally I realised he was using the wrong blade - I told him and he said not to worry. I todk him it was not possibly to cut my hair effectively and stay on the phone at the same time! He the became very aggressive (I suppose he was embarrassed) and asked me if I wanted to leave.. with a half finished hair cut! I backed down and asked him to finish, even though I didn't get the hair cut I wanted. Incredibly, at end he over charged me.. he charged me for a skin fade when a skin fade is not what I asked for. I told him that the last time I was here they charged me 15. He insisted on charging me 17, and then told me to get out.. !

It was remarkable really, I've never experienced anything like it! I thoughbt Kiko's would be my new local barber, but I'll never darken its door again. I hope that barber works through his personal issues.

They are too busy watching the news on full blast or engrossed in conversation in their native tongue, they don't ever say hello to my children or ever ask me properly what I want. Seem to get put out when I have to interrupt them. Today both my kids hairs were ruined and they took full payment without acknowledging anything. I was clearly upset. Went home dried the hair off to find a mess. Uneven and chunks cut out. This was from freehand cutting while watching the sports. Wonky back wonky fringe. Went back with dad, fixed one boys hair, carried on wrecking the other ones till I had to say please stop cutting it shorter! Told us his hair is too thick, it is fine and straight, then left it unfinished and sat down to watch the news while telling us to go to shorditch and pay £45 for a good haircut. Didn't have to, mama came home and fixed it. Couldn't do anything about the missing chunk over his left ear and we got a wedding to go to tomorrow. Jazakamullahu khairan. I learned a lesson today. If nobody greets you or your kids on the way in, walk straight back out!

Not clean, specially in this pandemic. They don’t even show your hair cut on the mirror. Israel’s like they have never been trained to be a barber. Stay away!
