Mow and his team are all true professionals with excellent customer service .
Basically the team go the extra mile for their customers.
I've been a regular customer for 8 years now,
with my son of 11 years coming along for his hair cut. I have to highly recommend Mow and the whole team.
First time the haircut was decent and quick, but the guy did cut me and then rubbed a rock on my head really hard without explaining what he was doing. When I asked he said it was to stop the bleeding, but it just left a graze on the side of my head. I also got shaving rash and ingrown hairs on the back on my neck. I let that one go, I paid £24 (as I also had a beard trim) and thought nothing more of it.
Yesterday I gave them another go, didn't have to wait, and felt quite comfortable during the cut. Half way through the barber took a call, held the phone to his ear with his head and continued to cut whilst talking. I let that go too. But when I got home and washed out all of the hair spray (that I didn't ask for), I realised how bad it was. I thought back to the cut, and realised that he hadn't used the scissors at all on the top. It was all uneven and just hadn't had any attention to detail at all. I went back in with a friend later that day, to ask for it to be fixed, to which they were fine with at first, but when I explained the problem their attitude changed. It was no longer genuinely friendly, but a kind if sarcastic, humoring me kind of attitude. One of the guys shouted "Give 100%, not 95%!" But in such a way that it was obvious that he didn't appreiciate a complaint. My friend also mentioned how uncomfortable they were made to feel.
The same barber fixed the issue, which he denied was even a problem and lied to me about using the scissors, but fixed the cut (by trimming the top with scissors) which I'm now happy with. However, after 2 bad visits I thought it was worth passing this on, as finding reliable barbers seems harder than ever. These guys seem unprofessional to me, but charge a lot more than others in the area with similar skill levels and a less sarcastic service. I won't be returning.
I cannot stress enough how terrible of a service they gave. The barber did not care at all and didn't look experienced in giving skin fades or haircuts in general.
Absolutely terrible experience.
