Crazy Razor Dagenham

I moved into the area like 10-11 months ago and i have relied on this barber ever since! i normally wait for my personal favourite guy to finish, and i get it done by him. i went here once and came out with a bad trim but that was because there was another person there. Other than that, you should come here!

It's the best gents salon in the area. However they have a high turnover of staff and so sometimes could be unlucky to be served by one of the temps. The experienced guys are quite good. They do extras like removing hair of the ear and if you shave you get a hot towel treatment. The shop is generally clean and neat. They only take cash payments. Would be good if they took card as well.

Great each time. My 4 yo used to be so scared to have haircut. These guys made it so easy for him. Super friendly with perfect detailing eye 👍👌

They’re called “crazy razor” for a reason. Because they don’t know what they are doing when it comes to cutting hair. This is the second time I’ve been and both times they can’t shape let alone cut hair to save theirs lives. 1st time they shaped my side burns I ask for my side burns to be pointy. To them this meant shaving most of the side of my head to get make a pointy side burn when they could have just followed the existing line as it’s already pointy. If this is what they call pointy then they need to learn some more English and better vocabulary. The second time I went another barber cut my hair and he was even worse. He could not understand English or speak it properly. I ask to use thinners on my hair and he didn’t know what I was talking about. I actually had to point to the scissors that I wanted him to use to thin my hair. How can you serve customers or cut their hair if you don’t even know how to speak or understand English. This barber was terrible, and I knew something was wrong as soon as I sat down I just gave him
The benefit of the doubt. What made it worse was they upped the prices by £2. Normally I wouldn’t care much but because the haircut was so bad I’m annoyed I had to pay an extra £2 for it. Never again. If I could give them 0 stars then I would.

The staff are very professional in their manners but I do hope they hire someone who can cut men's long hair. I'll actually pay premium. (They seem to be good at blending and fading only)

I showed the guy a picture of how I wanted my hair, the picture was of another guy with exactly the same hair length and texture as myself.
Barber didn't play attention to what I wanted and actually said the guy in the picture is a different ethnicity to me. We have EXACTLY the SAME HAIR.
He just needed to do a very short job of trimming down the funny ends and shaping excess uneven growth and possibly thin down some.
Instead, I got a full hair cut with out of proportion lengths. Looks good, but doesn't feel good nor will it grow good.
The floor was full of my cut hair.

LONG HAIR CUT.
The cut is the same technique as you would use on a ladies short hair.
Cut a central guide from front to back and use that as guide to cut towards left/ right. Taper the back and edge and your done. I cut my boys hair.
(Plenty of videos online to learn and train from)

Seriously. Soon as a person starts cutting my hair from across the front hair line or across the top of the head as a guide, THAT'S IT!, I know they are bluffing and the result is terrible.
If your unsure, DON'T CUT that person's hair.
Just Train yourself Guys. Guys pay extra for a good long hair cut.

Or find a professional who can cut gents long hair with scissors only. I'll become your regular since I live close by and I'll pay extra.

It's very hard as a gent with long hair to find someone who can cut it.

I didn’t get far enough to get my hair cut as they had 4 chairs open and 3 people waiting with 1 guy cutting hair and another barber just sitting around and not jumping in to speed things up but instead decided to slouch on the sofa for half an hour

I recently use this place for the first time. I went there at lunch time and there was no queue. I got sat immediately and got myself a great haircut from Sebur who definitely knows what he's doing 👌. I left satisfied and will return for sure.

My son had long hair And showed them the style he wanted but they didn't listen and cut his hair far to short. He didn't pay attention to the photo we showed or listen when we was telling him it was wrong. One older gentleman who works there then stepped in to help as he could see his colleague had messed up my sons hair, we will never be going here again I have a very unhappy 15 year old now who don't want to leave the house again as his hair has been ruined.
