Malc's Barbers

Took my boy in, aged under 2, to get his haircut. Didn't have a very good experience the last time he had a haircut (toddlers can be tricky to keep still etc) a while back so didn't know what to expect.

The guy that cut his hair was very accommodating, went out of his way to make our boy feel comfortable and relaxed and did a cracking job cutting his hair.

Very impressed with the overall service, my wife was also kindly offered a cuppa while she waited which I thought was a nice touch.

Highly recommend this place and will be back again soon.

Went in looking like a Dulux dog having not been due to lockdown. Julie sorted me out. I can thoroughly recommend Malcs barbers. I have been coming here for years. Lovely atmosphere and good banter. No worries about Covid as all precautions are in place.

I was really pleased with my haircut. I only had a short wait, and received a very friendly, professional service. I showed Julie a picture of what hair style I wanted , and she cut my hair exactly as I requested. I would thoroughly recomend Malcs Barbers, for a stylish ladies or men's hair cut!

I have used this barbers for many years and found the staff very pleasant and helpful. The shop is always clean and the scissors etc are wiped clean after they have finished the customers haircut.
During the pandemic , they have introduced a booking system. You can telephone or book an appointment while you are there. The times are set so that they can clean the chairs, sweep any hair away and are ready for the next customer.
I have always found their prices competitive.
I highly recommend them.

I had a hair cut and beard trim from Julie, she was very professional and polite, very chatty and friendly. The price is very reasonable and a great atmosphere in the job. I would recommend to everyone!

Had a military type haircut for an upcoming event as I'm a member of a living history group, perfect for the period, staff are very professional and friendly, the barber's was clean and tidy, all round excellent service.
