The Barbershop Ormskirk

Second time in around 6months I've had my hair cut here. First time was pretty awful if I'm honest. The first time in years I've had a "painful" haircut. Thought it might have been just me but my nephew complained to me about the same issue afterwards. It was also here I witnessed an altercation with who presume was the owner/manager (same person who cut mine and my nephews hair)argue with a would be customer. Not great.

Out of the it being a convenient location I recently gave it another go. This time I got the other bloke working and can say it was a completely different experience. Great banter, good cut and thankfully painless.

A tale of 2 cuts but will be back in the future. I will just request the barber from the 2nd visit.

I’ve been going to this barber shop for the last few weeks now, I can honestly say they have been providing me with waaaay better haircuts since I switched barbers.

There’s a nice friendly atmosphere inside, it’s clean and it’s never a long wait until I get my cut, I usually get a skin fade, shape up & a little trim & these are the best haircuts I have got 👍🏽

Staff are really nice, most importantly the cuts are professional, just want to say thanks 👊🏽

Dad, who is 90, says he's the best barber he's ever had, calls him an "artist"! Seems popular with local uni students. Salon is clean too (can't say that about some other barbers in Ormskirk). He charges dad 8.00, that includes eyebrow tidy. Open 7 days a week and I think some late nights.

Decore was lovely and very relaxed environment.

Stated on the website a free drink with every hair cut but i didnt see anybody offered this. Also wasnt offered any products in my hair at the end like 99% of barbers do and no tissue to wipe the excess hair away after. Once home and showered there was hair that had been missed on both mine and my sons.

Also staff were swearing infront of my son which is very unprofessional. Wont be back sorry.

These guys are great. Tyler does a great job of my hair and it's always a friendly atmosphere.
And even a beer is offered now and then
