Alex has been cutting my hair for nearly 20 years... Really pleased he’s got his own place now. And it’s closer to my front door!

Best barber in Godalming. As in you get the haircut you want at a reasonable price. Rather than a random car crash of a haircut you have to live with for a month until it all grows back and a bigger dent in your wallet for the privilege.

Alex was immediately friendly and welcoming when (I had just started working nearby) I asked if he would cut my hair (a female with some v short hair.) he has trimmed it about four times now and charged me an affordable fee so I am able to see him regularly to keep the look sharp and get the results I’m looking for . Very down to earth, straightforward, kind, hard working Barber. He gives me the best hair cut I’ve had ever from a barber :
in terms of easy to be with- gentle but firm! Knowledgable and interested in me getting the result I like- a true gent & relaxed professional! It’s a pleasure to visit him in his comfortable environment.Cheers!

I started coming to The Cut Thru about 15 months ago when I was diagnosed with Alopecia and was made to feel very uncomfortable at other barber shops in the area. Alex has been great in this time, making me feel comfortable and reassured and has always gone above and beyond to suggest ways of approaching my hair cuts and continues to do a good job with my hair now that my situation has improved.

Godalming has a big choice of places to get your haircut. Don't bother wondering where to go, just head straight to The Cut Through. Alex, who owns and runs the very conveniently located premises always does a top job. If your kids want a cool skid fade or someone who just wants a tidy up, he aways delivers and you walk out with just the cut you want.

There's plenty of competition for barbers in Godalming but Alex is the one I always recommend.

GREAT CUT! I'm new to the area, having read a lot of reviews and walked up and down the high street a few times looking at all the different barber shops (there are a lot in Godalming to choose from), I decided to trust my post lock down hair cut with Alex. He did a great job! Easy to talk to, really nice guy, and a great hair cut. His prices might be a few more quid than the 3-4 "Turkish" style barbers in the area, but for me it was well worth it. Can say with a degree of confidence that I have found my new barber. Cheers Alex!
