Golden State Barbers

I would suggest anyway looking to change their barbers. This is the place to be. Second time been in here now, Ben particularly made me feel welcome and haircut is 5*. cannot fault. Keep up the good work guys 👍🏽

My son came and had his hair cut today skin fade was ok but the rest of his hair was appalling one side was at least 2 inches longer than the other. I am a hairdresser with 35 years experience I now teach Womens hairdressing at a college but he wanted a skin fade which I don’t do so I gave him the money to have his first cut which wasn’t done by me. You charged him £16 for this which I had to correct when he got home he was to embarrassed to say anything. I get people have to learn and maybe the young boy was that cut his hair if that’s the case my son should have been told he was training and the cut should have been checked by someone with more experience.

I've been once 4 weeks ago and I'm going again this week. I got a great cut last time and the hairdresser actually understood and did what I wanted. I've lived in the town for 14 years and they are the best. Make an appointment as they are often busy.

Finding a good barbers is hard to come by and since going to Golden State Barbers, I can honestly say myself and my teenage son will not be going anywhere else.
Staff are extremely friendly and the service we receive every time is excellent. In regards to pricing, You get what you pay for and I have no issues.
In regards to the 1star reviews, do not let this put you off, they are all local boys, friendly, approachable and reliable!

1st time in a barbers shop, being a women of a certain age 😅 barber shops are for men and hairdressers for women. But this is so not true. Great experience, friendly helpful happy staff. My appts have been with George and he was great with me, put my mind at ease and I felt confident with what he was doing. Would happily recommend this barbers to women or men.

Was visiting London and needed a haircut and found GSB. I don’t regret it one bit, Ben was super nice and gave me an excellent haircut. This shop is very different from all barbershops in London and reminds me a lot of the shops in the states. His hospitality was amazing as well and makes you feel welcomed.

So I've been living in the Surrey area for around 7 years and really struggled to find a real good barbers this was My first time at Golden State Barbers and they certainly didn't disappoint!
And can say they have a new customer from now on in me.
Ben didn't disappoint at all and felt like I'd known him for ages..I felt very relaxed and assured in my barber today.
I was clear in what service I wanted and he delivered way more than my expectations required..
The shop itself is straight up my street especially with the music and laid back vibe and gaming station for younger or bigger kids...
The offer of a drink is great touch and can't wait to book again.
Finally I have somewhere reliable and worth every penny

Ben and his wife are really welcoming, chatty and professional. I had a haircut and beard trim which I am very pleased with.
This was my first visit and was very impressed with Ben’s skills. I’m happy that Staines now has a decent barber shop that offers a great customer experience!!
