Excellent professional service with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. James and Mark are fantastic. They generally cater for gents but have a handful of female customers like myself who require clipper work etc They have managed to fit out their barbers shop in a modern stylish manner that doesn't clash with the period building they are in. I love It! Call or pop in to make an appointment and enjoy the experience 😊

Mark and James always make you feel welcome when coming into the shop. The place is really nicely layed Out. The prices are good and you get booked in for a 45 minute slot where you are given all the attention to get the right style for you! The guys have been in the game for years and have a very high attention to detail! I'm a regular now and always will be!!

Recently opened, the Slog & Hustle is run by two relaxed gentlemen who used to work at another nearby barber's shop.

It was definitely worth checking out their new place: it has a very chilled out feel to it and it is obvious it's run by people who know what they're doing. Always come out with the exact haircut I wanted when I walked in, and at no point is there any rush or stress. Prices are also spot on, not expensive but not underpaying either... and you're supporting a local business too!

I have been seeing Mark and on the odd occasion James for 5 years +. Goodness knows how they have put up with me! It is always a pleasure from the moment you walk through the door until you leave looking like you could cut it in a Hollywood blockbuster. Keep up the good work guys and i look forward to the next 5 years.

I've been going to Slog & Hustle for around 2 years now. Cannot recommend both James and Mark highly enough, two of the nicest guys you'll meet. Slog & hustle has a relaxed atmosphere, provides impeccable service every time I go (3-4 weeks) whilst providing great haircuts. It's the only place I trust to trim my beard! Must be the golden scissors!!
